When I write in English people ask me to write in Spanish and the other way round. Me gustaría poder hacer como Maria Garus y escribir medio post en cada idioma, pero me resulta muy laborioso. I guess using both languages is only viable in posts like this one, with separate items I can translate one by one. En esta publicación iré añadiendo las buenas prácticas que vaya encontrando allá donde pase.
Here are some of the good practices we’ve found in our trips. Seguramente no son exclusivas de estos sitios, pero ponemos los lugares donde las hemos visto.
– Convertir vías del tren en desuso en carriles bici (Valonia, Bélgica) – Turning unused rail tracks into cycle paths (Wallonia, Belgium).
– No cobrar por llevar las bicis en el tren (Luxemburgo) – Not charging for taking bikes on the train (Luxembourg)
– No mirar las dimensiones de la caja de la bici, solo el peso (aerolínea Tui Fly) – Disregard the size of the bicycle box, as long as it doesn’t exceed a certain weight (airline Tui Fly)
– Poner parrillas de bici delante del morro de los autobuses, y no cobrar por usarlas (Terranova, Canadá) – Having bike racks on the front side of buses, and not charging for their use (Newfoundland, Canada)
– Si no hay lugar en un hotel para aparcar las bicis, permitir meterlas en la habitación (Terranova y Nueva Escocia, Canadá) – If a hotel can’t provide a safe parking space, allowing to take the bikes inside the room (Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, Canada)
